Hey there in the boatusphere, I'm lookin for some spare parts so I can continue the restoration on my 74 Vega Searcher. We are completely restoring her from the top down with much already done. Currently working on reseating all windows and replacing headliners and wall cloth. I have done a lot of the external parts, including adding a lot of electronics, but would like to purchase and rebuild a spare engine.*
The engine is a Perkins 50HP, and as mentioned, I would like to find one that needs rebuilding.
I am also*looking for some newer electrical panel covers. Mine are the old metal type and the print is faded. I would like the newer black plastic panels.
Any information on upgrading my current head would be also be appreciated as my current head pulls it's water from our surroundinngs and I would like to upgrade the head & convert it to fresh water feed.*
