Slips for sale, Again!!! Belhaven NC Dowry Creek

So we sold our last trawler to a good friend and he purchased ourslips, he has decided to go back to airplanes and is selling the boat and no longer needs the slips so has asked for me to help sell them for him. I will put all interested parties in touch with him but currently I am more qualified to answer any questions other than sale price, thats up to him :>).
Two boat slips for sale. Belhaven North Carolina at the Dowry Creek Marina, Voted 3rd best small Marina in America! I owned these slips 4 years
Located north of the Hurricane boundary for many insurance companies of Brunswick Ga and Cape Hatteras!

These are Deeded, recorded slips where you own the actual slip, they are part of a BOA (Boat owners association), The marina owns a portion of slips (roughly 55% of them) and the other 45% of slips are privately owned such as these two.
Boa fee is $80 per slip per month.
Slip 71 and 72 are currently set up for a wide trawler or Catamaran. We had a 41 ' Fountaine Pajot in them and currently have a 42 Kadey Krogen trawler w 4' 7" draft. Max boat length should be 42, our KK42 fit nicely and it is 47 OA.
The inside width from the 32' finger pier to two large pilings is just under 23' currently. A new finger pier has been negotiated and should be installed this year which would give the inside width between finger piers 29' If you have two boats, no problem if they don't fit in the current slip configuration the marina will put your second vessel in another nearby slip. You can have a dock box at each slip, The slips have roughly5' 9"- 6' of water and the area is not tidal (more wind driven tide) , Great fishing and crabbing all around the area lots of striped bass, redfish, black drum and more!
There is water and power 30 amp or 50-amp power available for a great rate.
This is a very liveaboard friendly marina close to the outer banks and Oriental and New Burn. Just off the ICW and in a well-protected location.
We are asking $27,000 per slip or will make a deal for both $47,000. You wont find a better deal at a great marina for a catamaran slip!

We live in Belhaven and go to Dowry Creek often to walk the docks and very beautiful surrounding neighborhood. We always find the staff and neighbors both those living on the water and on the hard to be very helpful and friendly. Although we keep our boat in Bath, NC we travel to Dowry Creek because of their VERY competitive fuel prices! We cruise about 2.5 hours at 7 kts when several other fuel options are available. While there we enjoy a tasty meal at the restaurant Dowry Creek is an attractive location.

We've stayed at Dowry Creek a couple times over the years; nice place, nice folks. Most recently, after the restaurant opened: decent food, good music. A big storm out of the southeast on our last visit was a bit problematic, but the marina folks were on the docks all night long dealing with various issues...

How deep is the slip at the lowest tide ?

Hello There, The area is really only tidal from wind. having said that when there is a strong wind driving out the water there is about 5ft at the edges of the finger pier and 5.5-6ft near the middle, or about 1.5-2ft lower then normal. Our Krogen 42 draws 4ft 7" and never touched even if the wind drove out the water.
