Hi all
Did any of you replace the saloon aft sliding door ? I have to. Croix du Sud is a 1988 GB 36 Europa but I surmise the same lock to have been fitted on many Europa or Sedan types.
All info welcome
With best wishes

Same lock as on my fathers 1978/9 (I think) 42EU.

Thanks. It’s what I thought.

Mine is a 92, not the same.

But when refinishing the door I thought real hard about making the bottom panel glass, like the top.

The newer boats have this and I like the look. May still do it.

I also replaced the rollers with Delrin blocks, and cut each side a different depth for the groove.

Works great, door slides almost too easy.

Pictures on my blog, grandbankschoices.

I have the bottom slide pins if you need them. PM me if this is of interest to you.

Thanks. I don't consider works that extensive ! I only plan the lock replacement but where to find this part ?
All the best

Contact GB directly.

Take it apart, look for identifying information/marks. That may help you figure out who made it. Then find that vendor.

GB used these folks for a lot of their hardware: https://izerwaren.com/

You may need to browse their circa-1990's era catalog pages to see if there's a match listed.
