Shower sump Mainship 34T

I am replacing the rule check/Joker valve in my shower sump. I ordered a new one but inside the short hose stub that goes from the pump to the nipple there is a black bushing . I assume the the joker valve fits inside the bushing the part does not appear to come with the bushing, did Mainship do this?

I am thinking the bushing is reusable and only the rubber joker valve needs to be replaced... same w the short section of hose.
