i follow his blog, great guy, but for me to mutch work, but wat you do yourself is a different cost (i do the same but on a polyester boat) great videos

Having built two steel sailboats of my own and helped on one other, I can tell you they are not cracked up to what people think. And with used, they can be a nightmare as the majority of self build boats are very amature in quality. The last 30 years has been fiberglass. I never looked back. I sailed down to Mexico in 2013-2017. I stored my boat in Guaymas during hurricane season. I got to see all the steel boats at various stages of repair. Jot one owner looked happy. Grinding, wire brushing and painting. The next year, you are chasing it all over again.
