Salon Table hold-down pins?

I am planning to make a table like this for our new trawler (Cheer Men PT41). This picture is off a GB Europa. Does anyone have a similar table and would know more about the pins on the table feet? Are they just eye bolts through the floor and bolted? Or are they just set in the holes but not bolted for ease of moving?

Our salon table on a 3/4" X 4' X 3' plywood with teak over lay and trim to match. The table can be moved around and the legs can lengthen/shorten in height. Usually we have it in the law coffee table position, but when the grandchildren come to table height, and the table also folds out to a 4' X 6' table.

Mine has just a single threaded screw, perhaps 1" in diameter that screws into a socket in the floor.

GB uses thumb screws (4) through tapped brass inserts in the teak sole. I'll post a close up on Friday.

"Fastpins" come in many sizes once you don't look in a boat catalog.

We use 1 inch pins with bronze receivers to secure cabin sole with over 350 lbs of anchors below.

No I do not have a picture.

The table original was 4’ X 6’ and the legs where screwed into the floor which make it very big and could not be moved. So I cut the table down to 4’ X 3’ and 1’ sides that fold downs to hide junk/stuff stored under. Your table has the sides fold up on top of the table. I used piano hinges to connect. When I cut the table it was made of ply wood so to cover the ply edges, bought glue/iron on edging at Lowe’s and stained to match.

You can buy chair/ table pedestals/post that increase/decrease in height. The table is supported by two pedestals/post. With the side leave down it also hides the ugly chrome pedestals. The base is 4’ X 3’ ply with teak trim to match. The leaves are supported by supports I bought at a wood making funiture store in Seattle. I think you can also buy at Lowes/Home and with the leaves folded down you can not see them.

Our salon is carpeted so the base/table does not slide move. Anyway we wanted a table that was versatile, up/down and could be moved. I plan on doing the same thing with the pilot house table which already folds down but is screwed to the floor so a base will have to be made. It will be nice if the table could be move back to make more room at the helm.

As for the Avatar. I was concerned about changing as I have a reputation for being a Dock Queen.

WE use seat hardware as it is more robust ..

The seat gear can be had with a slide assembly , frequently 2 can be installed end to end.

The table can then be slid over a foot to one side , sometimes a very useful feature.

Have never used it until we had a really rough ride back from Moss Landing and EVERYTHING in the cabin went over. Broke the dehumidifier, broke a chair, a few new scratches, one really scared dog and a few guests who have never asked to come back. Now she gets screwed down everytime.

I figured out to post pictures. Here is a picture of the table up with the side out for the full table. My wife at the time was making new curtains for the salon, which really pimped out the boat. The table can be lowered down and the sides drop down to make a coffee table.
