Not here now, but an interesting approach. Combustion under pressure like a diesel. Would be interesting to hear more over time. Durability? Fuel consumption? Etc.

 
A Wankel for diesel? Ok , not diesel. I should read more carefully.
Hope it works for them but they could not work out the sealing for gas and the pollution regs killed the gas Wankel. Maybe this time.

Read it. The whole rotor (piston) has been redesigned. It eliminates the old problem with rotor edge seals that were problematic.

Operates at much higher compression than before.

Needs no coolant. (no water pump and impeller, no through-hull)

Its less clear on this, but apparently cooler exhaust gases.

Fuel efficiency isn't mentioned but it hints at being efficient.

Smaller, lighter, maintenance reduced to fuel and oil filters and oil level checks.

I hope it works out. They just scored an investment in this by DARPA so it seems to be the real deal. Their interest appears to be for drones and backpack sized generators.
