Hello everyone., New member here :). I would like to know if I can get spare parts for my old Strainers? I have a old Grand banks with Chris Carft By Groco S1000. I am loated in Sweden and I have not found any dealers that sells this brand here in Sweden. The strainers are in good condition since its in fresh water, but since they are over 20 years old, I would like to repair the valve, or just replacing the valves (feels more safe to have new valuves when the boat is located in the lake during the winter) Would for example a FBV valve from Groco fit or could I use any other valves to replace the current valve and keep the current sea water filer?

Groco customer service is pretty good; you could ask them direct...

I know they have service kits for re-habbing some of their valves...

I think most parts are still available for those, with the exception of the t handle that tightens the valve.

You can rebuild for pennies on the dollar. I have all of them throughout the boat and just rebuilt all for peace of mind.
