Greetings,
Is there any place that might make use of outdated chartbooks and "guides"? I'm thinking Sea Scouts (for training exercises) or maybe Power squadron (again for training)? I'm in Fort Lauderdale. Thanks.

Try arts/crafts places that frame them and turn them into nautical decor like tables, coasters, artwork, and soooo many more tourista things.

Put it on facebook marketplace and they might come to you.....

Greetings,
Thanks Mr. PS. Not running around or putting in much effort. Just curious as to re-cycling of same.
Also found B van Sant...Passages South. Local pick up for all.

Not sure who that is but great for you!

I hate trashing stuff to keep clutter down that some people still think is treasure.

USPS / ABC uses a specific chart for their piloting courses. Coordinated with the text, assignments and answers. If a local chart you might find a boater learning and would make use of it practicing?

And that's not even a real chart. USCG uses 3 different training charts on their licensing exams, they once were real charts but haven't been updated in decades. The other training organizations use the same charts. If you tried to use the real current charts you'd probably get all the answers wrong.

Christmas present wrapping paper for the spouse to remind her of where you both have been.

Ted
I used to do that with the marked up training charts from the USCG licensing courses I taught.

Greetings,
Hahaha. ALL good suggestions so I guess they go into a box going to Salvation Army...

When we did navigation classes we only used the 1210TR chart. As said above all the questions and answers were calculated using this chart.
