I installed an RMK-10 on my flybridge Raymarine Axiom+. Works very well to access the MFD.
However, yesterday the Axiom went wackadoo (that's a technical term). Seemed to have spurious input, scrolling, wouldn't let me access the machine directly. After numerous resets, I figured out it was the keypad and unpaired it. Thought it was heat maybe.
This morning I took off the rubber pad and squirted some contact cleaner around and gently lifted the round "flipper" button and cleaned under there as best as I could.
That seemed to do it. Worked fine all day.
Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to take the round knob off and apart?
