A question for the wood hull folks. The hull of my wood GB appears to have been painted originally. It’s in bad shape (the paint, not the hull). I scrubbed the hull and have sanded it down to mostly bare wood. GB painted the hull inside so my thought is to prime and paint, but I it seems that paint wouldn’t allow the wood to breathe. This is in the aft cabin, under the bunks. Any input from those more seasoned would be much appreciated.

Greetings,
Mr. O. When we had a woodie (1950 Chris Craft Commander 34') we were advised to use a paint that allowed the wood to breathe, as well. Can't remember the make or product but breathing IS important.

I have had a lot of Good support from Interlux customer service. Maybe give them a call and see what they recommend.

Good info. Thanks.
