Ocean Alexander or Universal Marine

Ocean Alexanders were built (later) in the same yard as the Universal Marines. I'm looking at a UM 36 1979. Any thoughts/warnings?

The UM36 was built in the same yard as the Ocean Alexander, but earlier. I can't find anything on this particular Taiwanese namesake. TF doesn't have a builder site for them so they must not have made many. Any cautions or things to look for? She has a single Lehman 120 with 1200 hours.

The story I heard about that yard had the guy (Alexander) moving to what became OA in the early 80s, and taking his good reputation with him.
I also know a single UM36, bought used in 94, against the advice of the surveyor, but at a significant discount, from an agreed price in the $80k range to around $50k Cdn. The surveyor's recommendations became insurability challenges.
Get a good, thorough surveyor.
