My stove stopped working, the switch that switches from stove top to oven is frozen. I'd like to replace the switch, or maybe the oven. Problem is I forgot to get the model of the stove before leaving the boat, and it is a 4 hour drive from where I am. Need it fixed for a two month trip this summer.

I think it is a Princess stove, but I don't know the model. I would like to get the dimensions of the stove, and the switch.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can't help I'm sorry! My Mk 1 had a propane cooktop and oven, an RV model and I don't know the brand. I replaced the cooktop and turned the space occupied by the oven into drawers My guess is that there was never a standard unit fitted....

Is it a 3-burner Princess? Those were pretty common in boats of that vintage.

I had a similar Princess stove on my old Tollycraft, which was starting to have issues. I found that Force 10 makes a same-size stove that you can replace it with, though I sold that boat before ever dealing with it.

Hey Tom................mine (83 MK I) still has its original Magic Chef (propane) range, which works fine but I'm considering replacing it with a Force 10 Model 63351 Range. Fits cutout dimensions of 21.375"W x 20.375"D x 19.75H. If your range is all black in color, it could be a Magic Chef also.
