I'll be going north mid April from Florida to NYC and I'm looking for a place to pick up a crew member somewhere mid way. I'm thinking Norfolk VA would be a good location since it is an 'easy in, easy out' stop on the trip and has a good sized airport. Does anyone have a suggestion for an overnight Marina that may also have fuel? The trip will be all 'outside'. No ICW.

https://atlanticyachtbasin.com ...not in exactly in Norfolk Va but very close and has what you're looking for, have a look OOPS,I made a mistake, too far down ICW

Never been but there are a couple marinas in Little Creek, closer to Cape Henry and the airport. Otherwise, Bluewater in Hampton isn’t too far away.

I agree that for proximity to airport and ease of access to the bay and ocean, Little Creek marinas are probably your best bet. Bluewater or Hampton city pier also not bad for ease of access, a bit further from the airport but not too bad. Downtown Norfolk/Portsmouth a bit further for transit to/from the bay but more to if staying a few days.

Cobb’s Marina in Little Creek looks like it works. Floating docks, deep water, fuel, 10 minutes from the airport.

Cobbs Marina looks perfect. Thanks for the tip. Not sure I'd use them for fuel bunkering though. $5 a gallon seems a bit high even today.
