Anybody members own, or personally know of, a Nordlund under approx 65'?
Chris

Yes they've made several under 65'. A few months ago I was alerted to a 57' about 12 years old for sale in Marina Del Ray. They made a 53'er aft cabin as I recall. Great builder and great boats based upon the few + 100'ers we are familiar with.

I believe there are two on yacht world under 65. Older models.

I just purchased a 61 nordlund in 2022

Congrats. Welcome to the Nordlund family!

Thanks been enjoying it. Not many Nordlund's here on the east coast. Nice to connect with someone who owns one.

My son does the metalwork for nordlund boats. Very talented guy.

We just had some metalwork done for the hardtop project. Very happy with all the work!

We own a 57 Nordlund built in 2007. Fantastic boat.

Nice! We were just down in the Nordlund yard for some more upgrades. As usual they did a great job! Once you're done in Tacoma where will you be heading?

I really like your boat, I looked at it extensively on YW when it was for sale. Only problem is it was on the WC. What year was that? I like it much better than the Dettling, etc. I think you got a great deal on this boat, it is gorgeous, just watched the video again.

Funny, our last boat, a Queenship 59, was named Calypso. The Nordlund is a 2007, very well engineered and built, and a very good fit for west coast coastal cruising. It has some Dutch, Burger and Dettling influences. The owner was a Santa Cruz 52 racer and wanted a very light and great handling boat, which he got. The Queenship was also a very nice and well built boat, but we like the Nordlund better for speed, fuel efficiency, ride and almost single level living.

So we live in Tacoma and have been preparing the boat for the journey south to its new home. Once there it will spend about a month out to the water so I can upgrade some things, and then it will stay in the South Sounds until mid June when we head up to the San Juans for the summer.

Cant wait for the season to start. Spring is coming up here in the northeast. Ahh summer memories coming back from Moe's walk Oyster bay NY. Off long island sound.
