Ocean Alexander 42 Altus
Just completed relocating our just purchased 2005 Ocean Alexander 42 Altus from SeaBrook, TX to New Orleans. We have been enjoying reading the discussions and hopefully we can now contribute from our experiences. We had quite an eventful journey home but can’t wait to get back on the water soon...Bob

Welcome, she looks great. Where do you keep her?
My boat is in Houma just off the GICW.

Hi Steve. Will be keeping her at SeaBrook Harbor. Just came through Houma on voyage home. Tell me about your boat...Bob

Welcome !!! Where is your office?? I am from Houma but keep LUNASEA in Madisonville.

I live in Destrehan, keeping the boat in New Orleans. Madisonville will certainly be a frequently voyage for us. We are keeping her given name “Corporate Office”. I’ll keep up with you when we make our first voyage your way. I also have a friend with a 42 Carver that is located in Marina Beau Chene...Bob

She is a 2003 Monk 36 with single 210 Cummins engine. We bought her in 2008 in Annapolis left there on her Thanksgiving day and cruised her to Houma where we rent a slip. We left her in Charleston for a couple of weeks and drove home for Christmas holidays. We crossed Florida on the Okeechobee Waterway.

It was a very nice trip

Welcome, great boat!

Welcome aboard Bob. You will love your new OA 42. The Admiral and I have owned Seafever since 2015. There are a couple OAs on this site. You will probably want to meet Codger. Sandpiper has to be one of the nicest OA 42s on the west coast. Bill
