Ladies and Gentleman I wish to thank you all for such fabulous advice concern and support over our term as custodians of Cartouche our beloved to us Mainship 390. Life sometimes gets in the way and we had to look deep into our selves, and realize it was time to part company. We are very fortunate to have found great friends in Larry & his bride Legia who have been looking for a Mainship 390 for sometime. Our blessed Cartouche will be heading south to the dock at the end of their garden, in New Jersey (I could not dream of a better place for our beloved Cartouche) I will probably still lurk around the forum because it is such a great place for advice, But it is imperative that Larry can feel free to ask any question of you fine folks without worrying that he would upset us. We - (like I think Commodore Dave has done) have really gone to the dark side and we are about to be proud new owners of a 2008 Searay Sundancer 380 many thanks for all your support and help with our beloved Cartouche.

Congrats on your new boat. Nothing wrong with going to an express cruiser.

I call planing hulls the "Bright Side"!

After selling our 34' Tolly tri cabin... which is a very comfy, hard chine, twin screw, planing hull [but, not too fast at 16 to 17 planing knot cruise / 22 to23 kn WOT] I'm in search for an SF Bay "day" cruiser that likes to do 30 + knot cruise. Still need to have a head, galley and some sleeping arrangement with comfortable seating in the cockpit.

Will be fun looking at many qualifying boats!!
