Hi,
I am looking at Jefferson motor yachts (50-60 feet) in the 1990-2000 model year range. Any feedback regarding build quality, ride, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I thank you in advance.

There was a reply from an owner of a 1990 model in this thread where he listed some things to check:

Owner seemed very happy with his boat. Unfortunately that user hasn’t been active here in several years.

The Jefferson 52’ Marquessa EDH is an amazing live aboard and cruiser with excellent construction, economy, seaworthiness, power plants and generator, indoor and outdoor spaces, fit and finish of interior with teak finishes throughout, and overall comfort. It is the best use of 52’ out there, obtainable at reasonable prices. Have owned one for the last 10 years.

We have been cruising a Jefferson 48 CPMY Rivanna since 2019 and have put about 10,000 miles on her. We really love the way she handles and is very well built. In fact when I had bow thrusters installed a year ago, I kept the sections that they cut out because I was so impressed with the thickness of the solid hull. Hard as a rock! Mine has CAT 3208’s. Another thing is the storage. I’ve never been on a boat with as many cabinets, cubbie holes, hatches, closets. Great boats.

I couldn't agree more. I have owned the only 58 that they built for 11 years and couldn't be happier with the boat. Contact me for details and " maybe ? future sale.

Hi Joe,
Thank you for your feedback!! My search for a Jefferson continues in earnest.
Kind regards,
Gregg

Thank you!!
What a beautiful boat
Thank you. She is stored inside a building for 5-6 months in the summer hurricane season so she looks like new. She's a 2004 with 825hp MTU Series 60 mains with only 925 total hours.
