Both of our heads are Jabsco electrics, though I think slightly different models. The kind with a foot switch. Hit it once, bowl fills. Hit it again, bowl empties.
One I'm sure is a LiteFlush. A few months ago I hit the switch to evacuate a number one and all I got was a click sound. No motor action. I took the head apart, but before I did very much it spontaneously started working again. I shrugged and put it back together.
Now it's doing it again. I think a new controller costs half as much as the head itself, but I don't know for sure if that's the problem yet. I'm going to try and hotwire the motor to see if it works on its own.
Assuming it is the controller, are they fixable? And if not, could I just rip it out altogether and install some cheap switches to operate the motors?
