Hi all! I'm learning about options for adding some day, weekend, and cruising trips to our life. I live in Illinois. I'm exploring places to base a boat in Florida. Perhaps Ft. Myers area. Interested in lots of places to explore by boat, always like going somewhere new. I'm a pilot with a plane, and we'll use that to get back and forth to the boat.
I'm interested in the Lagoon 43 PC or a similar type of boat. I and my wife are attracted to the stability and roominess. I like the shallow draft for access to more places. I know haulout and berths are more limited.
General advice welcome!
