Bought my first trawler last weekend after looking for months. Still at the broker's dock in Alameda, but I have a slip reserved in Stockton. Since neither of the heads work, we're working that detail before the 90 mile Delta run to her new home.
She's a 1979 44 foot Kong & Halvorsen Island Gypsy with twin Volvo 235 HP diesels, needs bottom paint, swim platform bracket repair, window sealing, the usual stuff on old boats. But engines and transmissions are solid and smooth.
