Greetings. I am Ken Williams, 100 ton USCG license (expired) and Yachtmasters. My wife and I are on our boat cruising four to six months a year. We currently have a Moonen 90 Doggersbank style trawler, but previously owned a Nordhavn 62, a Nordhavn 68 and a Grand Banks 60. I am always happy to answer any questions about anything, although I still consider myself a rookie at cruising despite having run 60,000 miles or so.

If you post something to me and I ignore your message, ping me at ken@kensblog.com ... I tend to binge on social media, but then go weeks or months with forcing myself to stay away. I have forum-addiction issues and need to do something besides stare at my screen at least once in a while.

I just discovered this forum and am looking forward to checking it out! - Ken W

Strange coincidence, I just looked at your blog this morning that Nordlund Xpress posted on this site. Quite a span on your cruising adventure. Impressive number of ports visited in that time frame, considering half your time is spent on land. Smartly done!

I really need to get busy!

Welcome Ken! I have appreciated your contributions elsewhere online (Dreamers, blog, etc) when I have encountered them. I think you will like the community you find here and hope you stick around.

Welcome! I enjoyed your writing, especially discussing equipment decisions and choices. The choices when designing your GB60 was a lot of fun to read.

Hey, Ken --

Welcome! I remember you from your N62 and your days at Marina Bay. Glad to see you in a Moonen.

Welcome from Norhtwest Florida, also known as south Alabama.

Welcome Ken, I spent many hours back in the day on the Nascar Racing series online. It was so great, raced with many former and current racers like Dale Jr and Hamlin. I look forward to checking out your blog.

Welcome aboard! Enjoy your time in the San Juans.
