As most of you know Ft Myers was decimated by Hurricane Ian. Legacy Harbour Marina was our homeport for a lot of years and right downtown.
I know that a lot of trawler cruisers and loopers have stayed at Legacy in their travels. Harbor Master Eric was a long term HM there and has been there for years. He and his staff were Always happy to lend a hand and grab a line. I don't know if they can or will even rebuild the marina as it recently sold and will the staff even have jobs.
I am a boat dealer in Texas and Florida and boat owner and kept my personal boat there. In fact if you did the AGLCA winter rendezvous this year at Ft Myers and looked at a Mainship 400 at the trawler crawl in Legacy, that was my boat.
It's by sheer luck we moved our boat to Sarasota in August but Legacy was home for a lot of years.
