Slow Ride

Thanks for allowing me to join, my wife and I are water folks and currently have a pontoon which we keep in a slip. We use it at least twice a week and have made a 600 mile trip onboard, sleeping on the hook.
Been wanting a trawler for sometime and have spent a great deal of time researching taking in as much information as possible. Still have a tremendous amount to learn, so all help and advice is greatly appreciated. I have ran across this forum a few times in my research and thought I should join ?
