Hi Gang,

These are all new to me so sorry if I'm not explaining this correctly. Was finding about a half gallon of transmission/gear oil under the engine for every hour we were running. Finally traced it to tear drops leaking from one of two 2" x 1/2" pipes attached to what I think is the transmission oil pump.

Has anyone else dealt with this and could provide some guidance or point me in a direction to remediate this leak?

Thank you so much in advance!

What transmission do you have? It looks like a Twin Disc and those are called "connecting tubes". Most likely an O-ring failure that will require removal of the pump and its mounting plate. I've never done that before, but it looks like could be done in situ.

Good eyes, yes, I believe I have the twin disc transmission. Took me a day of going through the binder to figure that out :)
