Furniture at sea!

So you proved you can fall over in a chair anywhere. You do know people do that on land as well.

It was more like the chair tipping over with me in it rather than me falling out of the chair. :D
 
I made “seatbelts” for everything that would potentially move. I attached d-rings to the walls in obscure places and then used black webbing straps that would click together around the piece of furniture when it was deployed. When not needed, they stowed behind the furniture, out of sight, against the wall. I ran the seatbelts around the furniture in such a way that you could still sit on it. The strap around the sofa ran around the frame just under the cushions. I had these for the refrigerator, wine cooler, televisions, sofa, and chairs. The heavy aft deck table never moved, except during Hurricane Irma, and well....it all moved that day as things got busted apart.
