Wondering if anyone has (recent) information regarding the condition of the 3 marinas on Elbow....Abaco Inn Marina, Hope Town Inn Marina and Lighthouse Marina? I'm heading there for Christmas (knowing the island will be sparse) but would like to dock up for a few days and tool around on a golf cart.
Thanks,

Capt. Ron

Abaco Inn Marina (do you mean sea spray?) is closed and not close to reopening. They were working on the docks when we were there a couple of weeks ago, but have a long way to go.

Hope Town Inn and Marina is up and running. They have been open for more than a year now.

Not sure about Lighthouse. Their fuel dock is open, but they don't have many slips for bigger boats. They may have one or two.

Lot's of moorings available in the harbor.

Roger that on SeaSpray, but the Abaco Inn advertises a marina (I think it may be a dock in White Sound with 10 slips or so) with power and h2o...There's an online form for requesting dockage and I've corresponded with the dockmaster, who's quoting $5 per foot (includes VAT). I just can't find any post-Dorian pics...and would like to know what I'm getting into before placing non-refundable deposit. Perhaps Hopetown Inn is the safer bet?

not sure exactly what you are referring to as Abaco marina. however at the Abaco Beach Resort there is the Boat Harbor Marina. I always just hail it as Abaco Beach Resort. Plenty of slips, fuel, restaurant. Etc.
Contact number is 800-468-4799 local is 242-367-2158. great place to stay but a little high $$ for me. The conch Inn marina is now open 242-577-7000. Better pricing and has good reviews as always. Both these on Marsh Harbor on the main island. Just back from there last week after 3 months. You will find plenty of boats there in December/January

Yeah, I think I know that dock. It seemed to me to be targeted at smaller boats, center consoles etc. but I could be wrong. Also, $5 a foot is steep, does that include power and water? We stayed 3 nights at Bluff House, their new docks are great, plus they have a nice pool, laundry, and two bar/restaurants on site. It was $2.75' when we were there it drops to $2' on August 1st. Plus power and water.

Hope Town Inn is $3.50 a foot when you are going to be there. Personally, I wouldn't pay more to stay down by Abaco Inn. It's an easy dinghy run from the harbor.
