Just installed a water filter and want to put to bed any concerns the better half may have from not drinking bottled water and sourcing from the tank.

There is a myriad of test kits out there. Understanding EPA approved, any specific thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

What are you looking to test for? We have a well that we use for irrigation plus as a back up water source. When we first bought the house we paid the health department for lab work and at the same time used the test kit to compare the two. The test strips were real close. The kit was ~$30.

Perfect. Thank you.

Before I could get a certificate of occupancy from the County on my house with a well, I had to have the well tested. The County provided the test bottle (like above) and I paid a small fee. I tested the well the same way when I contracted giardia. County didn't seem to care why I was testing the water and it was convenient for me to pick up and drop off the test kit.

Big box stores also sell kits for various drinking water tests incl. fecal coliform. Simple to do.

TapScore seems to be the cheapest and includes shipping in both directions.

I'd prefer to use a local lab here in Maryland but they do not offer packages that include everything I'd like tested and their add ons make them extremely good orlando water testing.

I'd like to buy a kit to do some testing every 3 months or so. Has anyone used WaterSafe kits for routine testing? If not, what do you guys use?
What is everybody's favorite (or best/most accurate) kit you use for water parameter testing on your tanks? I'm looking for a direction before I buy something blindly...:ermm: I am super willing to order online if it's something I can't find in my area. I'm currently using test strips (I don't even know what brand) but I've heard the strips can be kind of off.
