Did Mainship offer a 390 in 2000 with 370hp Yanmar?

no idea, but that would be a good option. I have a Yanmar 6LPA-STP2 (315HP). My 1999 was the last year of the 350 model designation and came with a Cat 3116 originally. If I had done the repower, I would have put the 370HP.

not sure. mine is a 2003 with a 370 Yanmar. it's a 6LYA-STP. BTW, 370hp is wasted on that boat. The trim tabs are way undersized and unless you have it nearly empty it won't plane. It is happiest at around 8-9 kts which is 1800-1900 rpms

I don't believe so. That was the CAT 3126 era along with the Cummins 330.
