We built a new daybed/sofa for Slo Poke . I used some old Brazilian Cherry we had laying around the mill and we had a custom cushion made

Thanks man. All is well here. Hope all is good there. I just semi retired about a month ago. We sold our 115 year old house and downsized to a small condo close to Memphis. It was way past time to get back home closer to kids and grandkids.
This was my last project in my shop before downsizing. It was a fun project. My nephew has all my tools now and he’s turning into a pretty good woodworker. He’s only 20 minutes or so away from me so if I get an itch to build something I can go to his shop.

Sounds like your home downsizing idea was a good one, and you still get to use a shop and all the tools if you need to.
