That is the pontoon boat that was collateral damage.Look at the video of the burned out remains. There is an outboard sitting on the transom.

I don't think the yards issues were because the boat was gas but rather the leaking tank. Both yards haul and work on gas boats all the time. As I said earlier, I agree that the incidences of gas boat explosions are blown out of proportion. But, this fear whether real or imagined is what has left me currently boatless. Notice, I said, "currently." Because, I am actively shopping for another boat. I think we can all agree that boats are a necessity, not an option. LOL!Here in the PNW I have never heard of a yard saying no to hauling a gas boat. Now wood boats are of concern to the yards. Our OP is in Seattle.
Here on the dock, We once had a similar scenario to yours. We had a fill your car up for free party. That quickly unloaded 250 gallons of fuel. We pumped the bilge water/gas into a 55 gallon drum then drug it to the bilge pump out stations. After that we removed and replaced the fuel tank. All with the boat never leaving the slip.
Don't be dissing no Corvair! Ralph Nader was a wanker. It's interesting that you say with confidence that it's an outboard engine boat when you can't see the transom in the video. Looks like your typical sterndrive Sea Ray type boat to me. And don't preach to me about Pintos, I drove a Corvair! LOL!
