Very festive Bud. Looks fun, my kid would love it.

Did you see the Merrit Island boat parade where some knucklehead drove into/over another boat?

I did not, but I do worry about that.

It wasn't a big boat, it was some a-hole doing donut and being unsafe driving one of those sports car/jet ski things. My Kid would like those events but our boat gets pulled out every October, looking forward to when we can get to a place where there is boating year round, our season is much too short.

I saw it, disgusting, sad. I hope the DA is not Alan Bragg's cousin and has made a long reservation with the state's penal system.

This is from last year, we are planning to participate again this coming Sunday in Deale, MD, hoping the forecast improves. This will be our third year, we always end up with a full boat.

When the boat is pulled it's the best season of the year: Boat Maintenance Season!

I volunteered to be one of the safety officers for our boat parade. I think that involves yelling at people over the VHF. I'll be on someone else's boat and leave mine safely tied up in the marina. Hopefully, it won't be too exciting.

Looks good ! The forecast down here in the Keys is 20-25 all weekend. It will be a challenge!

Saturday had wind gusts 30-35 knots, so we postponed to Sunday night, which was beautiful. Just as we were lining up, this giant, glowing, spherical drone appeared over the Seattle skyline. Sorry about the blurry picture but I was really scared. Apparently, they are not just in New Jersey.

Well we came in second out of 29 boats. A 125ft schooner came in first, it was very cool. It was a little to windy for our snow making machine to have an effect. It was good to put some smiles on some faces.
