Hi all

Is anyone planning to head to Alaska in mid April? I realize this is in the wrong thread but not sure how to move it!

Maybe move it to the new "Political Discussion" Forum.

Now both of you are posting in the wrong forum.
As a note, the OP edited his post after I provided the link. I forget exactly, but his original question asked about entrance procedures.

My post was not intended to be political. It's just stating a fact that there is now a dubious requirement that frequently causes a tit-for-tat reactions. No single political party has a monopoly on stupid ideas.

Just at the beginning of the covid crisis, I was in the canary islands expecting to cross atlantic, cruise the carib, bound north to Florida and discovering and enjoying the ICW, the plan was to stay during hurricane season in Quebec city at the Yacht Club. I owned at this time a waterfront property on the south side of the Saint Laurent in Quebec city. Canada like many countries refused to let european travellers enter, whatever they paid local taxes, had covid test or vaccins. One year later the crisis had finished and things returning well, Trudeau administration and bureaucracy still maintained the borders closed for us when Canadians were free to travel in France and in Europe.I have of course decided to sold ASAP my house in Canada This bloody process has been 100% managed at distance... Fortunately friendly canadian neighbours help me to organize the sale of the house and furnitures and the shipping of my V8 convertible poney to France. I am not ready to visit Canada again but I dream with a permit cruising to do the ICW tour in US.

has the thread closed or moved?
if moved, can you point me to the new one
thanks
