Bulk diesel delivery PNW?

Anyone has experience and recommendations for diesel delivery by fuel trucks to a pier or marina in the Puget Sound?
My total intake is 1560 gallons, if I fill all my tanks. Any savings on direct delivery can be very helpful. Diesel prices are still high here.
 
Depending on where you are located call Brownsville marina, Ballard Oil, Cowichan Williams and Oak Harbor marina. Oak harbor is $3.69 with a $0.05 / gal discount over 100 gal
 
Christensen Oil Co, formerly Yorkston, will deliver to the docks. We have used them in Bellingham but they are in other WA locations

I think I could just about save enough on fuel to travel to PNW to fill up and return. I hold 1380 gals. Pricing here for 500Gal+ is $6.60. I have not checked around so that is just one price but we don't have many fuel docks on San Diego Bay and pricing tends to be similar.

Brownsville is an hour from me. I filled up there last Spring when it was $1.74/g. I still have 500+ but it would be nice to be full. Who knows what is coming.

Washington’s new tax on CO2 emissions takes effect Jan. 1. Companies that distribute CO2-emitting fuel sources, like gasoline or natural gas, must purchase permits to cover the emissions from those fuels. Since there are a limited number of permits, the price is determined by an auction. The first auction for permits doesn’t occur until late February. Since the impact on the cost of energy – gasoline, diesel, natural gas – is determined by the cost of the permits, we won’t know how much the tax is until that auction occurs.
The Department of Ecology recently set a minimum price for permits of $22.20 per metric ton (MT) of CO2 and a maximum price of $81.47. That translates to between 18 cents per gallon and 72 cents per gallon.

Have you tried Pearson's?

I bought 200 gallons there a month ago and paid $5.12 plus tax. Bet it's $4.50 or better now after the recent drop. You need to haggle a bit and make friends with the dockhands for the best price.....

Thanks I will try them tomorrow. I don't fuel often and last time was 18 months ago in Mission Bay. I called High Seas who gave me that price as that was the first one to answer the phone. Fortunately I don't need fuel anytime soon.
 
Just call around to the fuel docks tell them how much you need .
They know if they your calling your checking. If they are heavy or slow they will give you their best. In Canada i don't think you can use trucks it has to be off dock tanks or shore tanks . Yippy in Canada all taxes road and carbon tax .See they just announced carbon tax in EU and USA is coming maybe a 3rd world payback tax for pollution .

 
John the out the door price (including tax) is currently $3.76 at the Fido fuel dock in Cap Sante
 
I hold 2400 gal. I use Coleman oil, in Bellingham. They deliver to the sawtooth docks at Bellingham and Blaine, and I'm sure elsewhere. Phone is +13607345650.
 
I thought prices might go up after the 1st. Sure enough diesel at Cap Sante just went from $3.76 to $3.98.

I'm glad I filled up last week. Also, the king tides made the trip to Anacortes more interesting than usual, starting with the dock ramp being lower on the shore side than on the dock side. I went on Wednesday and the current in the Swinomish Channel was probably running 3 knots. On Tuesday the tide was so high that the waters went over the channel bank and flooded parts of La Conner.

In your experience, what percentage is your savings compared to other fueling options? I would ask you for price, but that could differ based on the volume you’d buy, supposedly.
Their web site do not list present prices.
