The DeFever Cruisers is a club for yachting enthusiasts. Most of us own a DeFever yacht or trawler, but others are welcome. We often cruise with fellow members and gather for fun on scenic beaches, or rendezvous at a resort for seminars, open boats and spirited fellowship.

i believe POCTA continued to make Defever designed boats for some period of time after Art Defever’s death. I’m not sure if anyone else did, and I’m not sure when POCTA ceased production. POCTA was based in Taiwan but in recent years manufactured them in China.
