Question for anyone with a Bow Power bow thruster. Just had our 1997 Camano Troll sodablasted and have better pictures of what I think is a Bow Power model bow thruster. Looking for zincs for it. The thruster had a 1 5/8" circular shaped zinc on the non-propeller side with a 7/8" wide, 1/2" deep circular hole on the back side that attaches to a circular protrusion that has a center hole (see pictures). Markings look like a CAMP sm??1180 zinc anode, but can't find any zinc with a round hole. Any zinc I find that looks similar in shape and size like CAMP or seashield brand has a hexagon shaped dam to fit a nut. Any ideas what the round holed

zinc may be? Wondering if a prop nut zinc could be added to the propeller, but the nut looks a bit rough and there doesn't seem to be a hole in the middle. Thoughts? If you have a Bow Power thruster what do you use for zincs? How does prop nut come off? Set screw? Thanks. Mitch

Hey Mitch, can’t help much on the zinc other than to suggest Fisheries Supply as a possible source; they seem to have a lot of obscure zincs and were the one source I could find for the zinc for my Keypower thruster on my Troll.

As mentioned I have a keypower thruster not a Bow power, but the prop nut looks like it might come off the same way; see my thread here:

Basically you remove the nut then use a push bolt in the internal threads to push the prop off the shaft taper.

Thanks. Will check out Fisheries Supply and your older post.
