Auto Pilot recommendations

I am an 7.5 ton at light load 33 foot displacement vessel, rod and chain steering through a large steering box with 2 stations.
I intend to install an auto pilot system but know very little about them and looking for type/brand recommendations.

I think the critical decision is the drive type. Mechanical rotary drives are well suited to your system.

After that pick a common name and buy their package, which consists of a compass, a processor, and a user control.

There are many good threads here on various brands, but no bad choices IMO.
