Greetings!
I recently replaced one shutoff solenoid on my 34 Cal LRC with twin after-cooled Perks. I don’t have the full wiring diagrams but it appears that the shutoff button is the only source to energize the pull solenoid.
My question is how does the auto-shutoff work? I know the lift pump ground is wired through the oil pressure and high temp sensors that opens ground to the lift pump when either is triggered.
I would think that the Mechanical pump would keep the engine going without the lift pump, but is the lift pump critical for engine running?
Thank you!
