• Trawler Forum Classified Posting Guidelines
    • We expect ads placed to be related to the topic of this forum.
    • Ads that are inactive for 180 days or longer may be moved to the Classified Archive and locked. Ads may be relisted if the item is still current. Alternatively, owners may contact a Moderator to reinstate an archived ad.
    • The Classified section is for advertising, members are asked to refrain from posting discussions to a Classified Ad. Please start a discussion thread or PM the owner for discussions.
    • Do not hijack another member's ad by posting unsolicited commentary. Example: if a member has posted an ad offering an anchor for sale, don't add a post to his thread stating that you have an anchor you'd like to get rid of also. Posts deemed as unsolicited commentary may be removed.
    • For your own security, do NOT include your e-mail or phone number in your ad. Instead request that interested parties contact you via PM (private message) to provide owners contact info.
    • Brokers, Dealers, or those with a commercial interest in a sale are prohibited from posting in Classifieds.
    • Only Trawler Forum Commercial Members may post ads in the Commercial section. You must be a designated Commercial Member to start threads in this section of the forum. (Contact a moderator if you have questions about this)
    • Don't post links to commercial sites where you are also offering the boat, such as eBay, Craigslist or Yachtworld, etc. unless it contains a more in-depth description, additional information or pictures.
    • Place only one ad per item (you may repost only when your ad has expired and been removed).
    For Sale ads MUST include:
    • Asking price
    • Location
    • A Basic Description
    • Clear statement whether you are the owner or non-owner (posting for friend, relative, or acquaintance)
    • Don't forget to select: FOR SALE, WANTED or FREE in the Title block.
All ads should also include ALL the following:
    • Pertinent maintenance and condition information
    • Exterior picture or pictures
    • Interior picture or pictures (boats)
For maximum impact & exposure, it is suggested the Ad Title include: Year, Manufacturer, Model, Length, Price, and Location or at the very top of the ad body. When your item has sold or the ad is no longer relevant: Please post a Reply to the ad that the item is SOLD or click "Report Post" on post 1 of the thread to ask a moderator to archive the ad. Ads may be moved or removed by our staff at any time for any reason. All ads must comply with site rules. Thanks for your cooperation.
  • Avoid Scams.

Our classifieds are free and anyone registered here is welcome to post an ad.
Be aware that there are unscrupulous folks out there. Avoid any interaction that seems odd to you or feels wrong. Inquiries from unknown buyers, buyers agents and other non-traditional approaches should be treated with extreme caution.

Beware of unsolicited contacts offering to put you in touch with someone else who is buying or selling via e-mail or text.

Do not post your e-mail address or phone number in a classifieds ad.

Hints that you may be dealing with a Scammer:
    • Seller or Buyer approaches you via a direct email or PM and then steers you to an off-site communication method (text or email).
    • No posts or very few forum posts.
    • Recent forum membership
    • Insists on conducting negotiations via email or text rather than PM
    • Requires payment via Bank Transfer, BitCoin/CryptoCurrency, WesternUnion or other unsecured method.
    • Buyer or Seller suggests Paypal "Friends and Family" payment. Paypal is a good way to arrange payment but an invoice for goods and services should be used rather than "Friends and Family". "Friends and Family" avoids fees BUT there is no recourse if the transaction runs aground. Friends and Family is for gifts only. There is no protection for Friends and Family transactions, so never ever use it to buy something.
    • Declines to allow viewing the item before proceeding with the transaction.

72' Alloy trawler is back in the market

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Excellent. You’re in compliance with IMO.

Mine were operable and would let huge amount of water in during storms. Plastic frames would never torque down enough on the gaskets.

LC you have a very lovely and unique boat. Do you have an idea (or feedback) as to why it’s taking so long to find a buyer?

Really no :)
The hull is very well built, structured with braket, stiffener everywhere (BV Paris definite the structures).
OK as you can see on film : need à paint job
Also in engine room you can see hose and piping could be fitted more 'nicely'
But we are priced far far below comparable boat.
We had à 'potential' customer who pass this week end ...in réalité it is wvat we name :" week end visitor"'
You promptly understand he just come to 'visit' not à buyer at all.
OK she is not 'perfect' but perfect she will not be at the same price.
All the film up there was taken this week end, she is not so bad :)
We had à problem with à flat in Poland in way to be solved...after that we will move again with the boat don't want wast more time looking for à customer.

Hello long-cours.62,

Hope everything is going well with you.

How is going with the vessel ? Have you sold her ?

Best regards,

LasVegas

Hello Las Vegas,
Coming back ?
Yes she is still for sale, on advertising lot of view but mainly all are for curiosity purpose only...
Thrne last "visitor' after few minute it was clear he don't take à look like à réal potential customer. Even 3 time he asked to us "you manage her only you 2 (old?! :)) people ?
May be he was affraid by the size.?
We do à fresh bottom paint, propspeed on propeller.
We must going back to France for do some formalités and we will come-back on board as soon as possible, put her back in water and move...

Beautiful boat! Can’t believe it hasn’t sold yet. If it was on this side of the pond it would be sold in a heartbeat. Hang in there.

I have a colleague who know Seattle ( his daughter made her cursus in university here) said the same thing : Bring her to Seattle and she will be sold quickly.
Because in the north West they like trawler AND alloy.
May be if the only thing for sale it is bring her in Seattle area : we will do that :)
It is "only "around " 10000nm or 20000liter of diesel at 7.5kts or 38000lt at 9.85kts :-(
:)

Could be an interresting choice, but our former boat (long-cours62)was prepared for that : différent type of heater, great insulation, triple glazed Windows, etc our project was to go NE passage in ...2014...oups 2014 was not à good choice , our président cancel the sale of 2 war ship already built for Russian...Our heavy file come back from Moscou with the answer not allowed :-(, the reason given was : we project few stop, and stay in some place and after that continue strait to Alaska.
Doinc that with the Pacific could be possible but in case we must pass one wi ter bloked somewhere : the insulation must be upgraded, another type of heating must be fitted, the 17kw kolher must be removed to be replaced by à model who don't need raw water to be cooled (like i dustrial one radiator and fan), insurance to do that..., and after that the probabilité than wl get some...mark of this passage may be not the Best for resale value. But of course much more "shorter" in nm, May be not in time if bloked upthere for one winter.

greetings, is she still for sale?
and where is she located?
I'm looking for a live-aboard long distance trawler here in Europe. Couldnt actually buy it before march, when weather "starts" to clear up a bit, but eager to secure a boat before then obviously, if possible...
Just found these forums and started reading threads for the last, probably 3-4 hours haha :) - and found this. Looks very interesting.

Could you still update the ORIGINAL POST (on page 1) with CURRENT information about the boat?
I've read through 2 pages of this thread and then jumped to the bottom to ask my questions, because all the info you've put up is very distorted. It would help your sale to simply update the first page post with all the current info - and if you cant update the photos on that post, perhaps post them to an accessible photo site and link it there. Many of the links you posted in this thread are not accessible (as others have already stated, of course!).

Great looking ship and best wishes!

Hello,
I think we can do nothing on the post after they was posted ( except in short delay).
For the link in my side they work (even the first one ) and the second one posted work for everybody.
The photo are and film are very recent ( the film of arrangement have less than 2 month old and the photo of the outside one month).
Of course you have some discussion between member but you can escape that, if not interesting for you, by clic on the link to the page for the sale of this trawler on our "blog" .
This link appear few time on this advertising but I put it one time more for you :
A vendre trawler/explorer/motor yacht - Trawler long-cours

As wrote if you need more information : contact us.

Normally we will be back on the boat around the 27 January.
Must solve a leak on the "lifting ram" of the crane and after that we will move with the boat,
tired to trying to sale her :) and the smaller , older boat are so expansive. If no real customer : we will move.
Bye
