I'm buying a 1999 Monk 36 and really like the boat except the Mast stays. I'll remove the boom to get that out of the way. My question is;
On a Monk 36 has anyone removed the boom and stays? do you have to support the base of the mast in a different way? If you have worked out a mast support system so the stays can be removed please let me know how you did this or photos of your system, thanks.
