Hello my name is Danny, I currently have a 36 Chung Hwa, the boat was previously used in Loch Lomond in Scotland, it is now out of the water in a boatyard near Glasgow, I am in the process of taking the superstructure off and replacing it as it has suffered for many years water ingress, I am on the forum looking to find the original plans for the boat, any help would be appreciated, I will attach a picture of the boat.

We own a 1988 35 foot Fue Wha, similar to yours. It appears your vessel is older based on the wooden brackets that hold the windscreen on the flybridge. The only drawings we have are for the electrical wiring and the Perkins engine connections to the lower and upper instrument panels.
Yours was probably built by Chien Hwa Manufacturing. Their address is/was Hung-Tai Sung-Chiang Bldg, Suite 1108, 152 Sung-Chiang Road, Taipei, Taiwan. You may have to use the existing flybridge enclosure as a mold for the new one. Good luck!

Was the boat sold in other markets under a different name? Figuring that out might allow you to find plans or perhaps a near sister-ship that you could measure.

This same company built the CHB line. Many similarities but I was told that ours was distinct from the CHB 34 and 36 versions. Ours has upgraded, varnished cabinets, doors on both sides of the cabin and an aluminum mast for electronics. The line was sold in California under the Golden Star name, the dealer was British Marine in Alameda, California. We are the third owners. British Marine is still around and they may have information for you.
