Patience’s Engine

I installed a Beta Marine 50 HP, naturally aspirated diesel. It is an English marinization of a Kubota (Japanese) tractor engine. Parts are available all over the world except for the raw water cooled exhaust manifold.

The original Borg-Warner Velvet Drive transmission from the original Perkins diesel was attached with a Beta supplied adaptor. I replaced the 9 foot shaft and two pillow blocks that support it in 2019.
