FYI - My good friend is reluctantly selling his 2014 Horizon 52' Power Cat.
Current asking price is $1.42m. She's located off the ICW in the Tampa Bay area. She shows around 1700 hours on her Cummins QSB6.7 550hp engines. PCs are fairly economical to run - I seem to recall her cruising with a clean bottom and fairly flat seas at 17-18 knots burning 18 gph per engine (36 gph/total); and 3.5-4.0 gph per engine (7-8 gph/total) at 7-8 knots.
I have no commercial interest in the sale, just bringing it to the attention of TF'ers. Many of my posts have mentioned my friend of 30-years (a 100T USCG Master) and my fun times aboard this boat over the 7-8 years he's owned her. In my opinion, power cats make an exceptional Florida/Bahamas boat - Horizon builds a very luxurious example. I'll be sad to see her go......
