My hull and topside are the same color (Hull & Deck are 2003 with a 2006 hard top). It is an off-white/cream color. Can some some tell me how to determine which it is so I can find a matching paint.
From the folks at Spectrum Colors I have learned the possibilities are:
From Spectrum Color for Mainship
Color Year used
Antique White 2000-2008
Bilge White 2002-2008
Hunter White 2000-2009
Is there possibly an indicator in the hull number?

Don't know but you might try posting on the Mainship Facebook page.

I have already done so. That is where I got the suggestion to contact Spectrum Colors.

I'd have guessed Antique White outside, maybe Bilge White in the... er... bilge... and Hunter White on Hunter sailboats (was also part of Luhrs Group). Wouldn't surprise me if I heard Antique and Hunter are actually the same color...

The paint is not cheap and you have to buy a gal. As I remember it was near $200

We have a 390 Mainship with Antique White gelcoat topside. The color is yellowish and not white as most of think of of white. We’ve used Spectrum Antique White gelcoat and matches perfectly. Hard to tell from your boat cameo photo but color in your photo doesn’t appear to be the same Antique White as our gelcoat. I’m attaching a photo of our boat so you see the Antique color.

Thanks for all the replies. I am now assuming my gelcoat is Antique White. I have found Pettit EZPoxy, color: OFF-WHITE, seems to be a close match. I picked up a quart but have not used it yet.

I found the Antique White color on the following website available in 2oz containers.

I have used this Spectrum product a couple of times over our +20 year ownership for small chips. The color match is spot on. While expensive for 2oz, because gelcoat has a short storage life ~6mos., it’s a good way to go if you’re only doing small chips and such.
