I feel stupid asking this, but anyone know the location of the trim tab motor on this boat?
I’ve been looking with no luck. Thanks everyone.

'97 was about the time Mainship experimented with Lenco electric Trim Tabs. A short lived experiment as they switched back to Bennet in a few years. Mainship also favored using their own switches, so you may not be able to identify from the switch.
Picture below is a Bennett pump, typically installed near the transom.
If you can get to where the plumbing or wires come through the fiberglass into the boat, tubing would identify Bennett and wire would identify Lenco.
Mainship also favored flush mounted tabs, so they may be mounted forward of your integral swim platform.
Bennett issues are almost always switch / wire connection or pump issues, the actuators are rarely where you might find a problem.
With Lenco switch / wire / connection issues would be first suspect, the motors are inside the Actuators and call for a haul out to be replaced.

Now I really feel stupid! I found an owner of the same year and model Mainship. There is no hydraulic motor, they used electric rams on the trim tabs. Thanks all!
