I am selling my 1987 Roughwater Sedan Flybridge. She has been repowered with twin Cummins 6BTA 330's with about 2,500 hours. She has a great turn of speed when needed, 25 knots, but can cruise efficiently and effortlessly all day long between 8 and 16 knots. All systems are in very good condition and the boat is turnkey. The exterior varnish is meticulously maintained and looks great. The bottom was redone late last year. The boat is equipped with an inverter, diesel heat, Raymarine Radar, Icom M506 vhf in the pilothouse, Icom M330G vhf on the bridge, and recently serviced Robertson autopilot with full function remote on the bridge. The boat has tons of storage throughout. Recent improvements include two drawer style refrigerator/ freezers, new decks, new custom memory foam vee berth cushions, new salon cushions, Mediterranean 3 burner propane stove/ oven, and two Garmin chart plotter/ sounder units.
When we bought the boat she was in Portland Oregon. We took advantage of that and cruised the Columbia River. After that she was brought down along the coast to San Diego.
We are selling her because we bought a much larger boat in preparation for our retirement, when we hope to do longer range cruising. This boat is very well made and would make a great couples or family extended cruiser, that also fishes well.
