    • Do not hijack another member's ad by posting unsolicited commentary. Example: if a member has posted an ad offering an anchor for sale, don't add a post to his thread stating that you have an anchor you'd like to get rid of also. Posts deemed as unsolicited commentary may be removed.
    • For your own security, do NOT include your e-mail or phone number in your ad. Instead request that interested parties contact you via PM (private message) to provide owners contact info.
    • Brokers, Dealers, or those with a commercial interest in a sale are prohibited from posting in Classifieds.
    • Only Trawler Forum Commercial Members may post ads in the Commercial section. You must be a designated Commercial Member to start threads in this section of the forum. (Contact a moderator if you have questions about this)

    • Place only one ad per item (you may repost only when your ad has expired and been removed).
    For Sale ads MUST include:

    • Exterior picture or pictures
    • Interior picture or pictures (boats)
For maximum impact & exposure, it is suggested the Ad Title include: Year, Manufacturer, Model, Length, Price, and Location or at the very top of the ad body. Our classifieds are free and anyone registered here is welcome to post an ad.
Be aware that there are unscrupulous folks out there. Avoid any interaction that seems odd to you or feels wrong. Inquiries from unknown buyers, buyers agents and other non-traditional approaches should be treated with extreme caution.

Beware of unsolicited contacts offering to put you in touch with someone else who is buying or selling via e-mail or text.

Do not post your e-mail address or phone number in a classifieds ad.

Hints that you may be dealing with a Scammer:
    • Seller or Buyer approaches you via a direct email or PM and then steers you to an off-site communication method (text or email).
    • No posts or very few forum posts.
    • Recent forum membership
    • Insists on conducting negotiations via email or text rather than PM
    • Requires payment via Bank Transfer, BitCoin/CryptoCurrency, WesternUnion or other unsecured method.
    • Buyer or Seller suggests Paypal "Friends and Family" payment. Paypal is a good way to arrange payment but an invoice for goods and services should be used rather than "Friends and Family". "Friends and Family" avoids fees BUT there is no recourse if the transaction runs aground. Friends and Family is for gifts only. There is no protection for Friends and Family transactions, so never ever use it to buy something.

Boat is an Aft Cabin/Trawler style, with a ton of interior space. Twin cabin, twin head.
Meticulously maintained with many upgrades on an ongoing basis.

Twin 225 hp Turbo Ford Lehmans, both start right up and are very strong engines. Arguably the most desirable and reliable engines made (I said arguably - please don't flame me (as most all boat owners believe the engines they have are the best.)).

Boat is USCG Documented (no State registration needed).

WALK THROUGH:
From the swim platform on the stern there is what we call the fishing deck with outdoor shower.
From there, its up the ladder to the spacious Sun Deck enclosed in Eisinglass.

SUN DECK
Sundeck has a wet bar with sink, storage, and ice maker. There is plenty space on the Sundeck for a table and chairs for lounging, dining, or entertaining.

FLY BRIDGE
Going up 4 stairs one accesses the Fly Bridge with a full driving station plus storage, seating for guests and a small table.
Back down on the Sun Deck one can also access the side decks and bow from the port and starboard side doors.

MAIN SALON
Stepping down into the interior, one enters the roomy Main Salon, with an interior secondary driving station, storage, an LCD TV, and a counter with a breakfast bar. The breakfast bar can be made into a larger counter/table by raising the fold down portion.

The main salon has sliding doors on port and starboard to access the side decks, bow, or aft & up some steps to the sun deck.

GALLEY & DINETTE
Going forward from the main salon, and down 4 steps, there is the Galley on the port side and the Dinette on starboard. The dinette table also lowers to make a double bed, if you need more sleeping space for guests. The dinette cushions were custom made in 2023 and make a bed mattress when the table is lowered.

Galley has a Force 10 propane stove (new 2024) with 3 burners, an oven, and a broiler. There is also a newer Norcold fridge/freezer that runs on both 12vt (batteries), and/or 120vt (shore power/generator). It defaults to 120 vt, but if there isn't any, it will automatically run on batteries. The main faucet is new in 2024, and the counters have under cabinet LED lighting.

V BERTH
Continuing forward there is a head on the Starboard side, a closet on port and bunk beds with a small work station in the V berth. The bunk beds have new mattresses and covers from 2023. The head has a new faucet (2024), and a vaccuflush electrical fresh water toilet. If you are not familiar with a vaccuflush toilet - it operates just like an airplane toilet, and is quite common on larger motor yachts.

Aft of the main Salon, down 4 steps is a short hallway with storage and a washer/dryer unit on the starboard side. The condition of the washer/dryer is not known, as we have never used it.

MAIN STATEROOM
Entering the main stateroom aft, there is a very large closet on starboard, and the stateroom has an oversized queen bed, which can be accessed on both sides. There is generous storage on both sides of the cabin, with large drawers, lockers, and closets.

The port side of the cabin has a makeup/vanity desk with seat, and a large mirror that folds down to close the storage area. On port and ensuite, is the master bathroom with a walk in shower. Like the forward head, the aft head is also a vaccuflush toilet flushed with fresh water.

ENGINE ROOM
The engine room is clean and well lit. Access is from under the stairs in the galley/dinette. Engine room houses the 2 primary engines, the Generator, the water heater, the fresh water pump, Inverter, battery charger, and the Air Conditioner units (2).

There are also easily removable floor panels in the main salon that when removed provide exceptional access to the engine room & its machinery for larger projects.

Hello KnotYet,

Thanks for the question. As you may have seen in the photos, we don't have a crane on the boat, but I came up with a solution that works better for me...

I back into my spot at the marina, so I need the dinghy to be at the bow, or else I can't access it. After giving it much thought, I came up with a homemade crane/pulley system that works for my needs. See photo below.

At the marina I use the homemade pulley/hoist/crane to raise the dinghy out of the water and it hangs there out of the water. The Dinghy is lifted from 3 lifting points and is attached to the hoisting apparatus via a quick release snapshackle. I also secure the dinghy painter to the mother ship, so the dinghy is secure and won't budge if the wind comes up. The dinghy hangs there off the bow, and is easily raised or lowered when needed. I can have the outboard in the upright and raised position, or also down - either way works.

When under way we tow the dinghy.

In the picture we are obviously not at the marina, but you get a good view of my solution.

For me, it works great, its super easy to raise and lower the dinghy, and doesn't take more than a few seconds, plus I can keep the dinghy available by having it at the bow of the mother ship, not trapped on the aft topdeck.

That's how I handle the dinghy on my boat.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks again,
Ralph.

Someone asked me in a DM about engine hours, and they are approx 1,600. But with that said, the Stbd engine had a complete rebuild a few years ago, and since that engine rebuild, has only about 180 hours.

Here is another picture demonstrating my bow hoisting apparatus:

For what its worth!
Thanks,
Ralph.

For the dinghy hoist, one enhancement I should have done, is to put a block up on the bowsprit, by the anchor somewhere, and run the dinghy hoisting line from the hoisting blocks up to that new block and back to the capstain, and use the electric winch to hoist the dinghy! That would be pretty cool!!

Engines ((Ford Lehman 225hp Turbo) on this 1986 Ponderosa 47 are in great shape. Got the oil changed the other week, and had oil samples sent out to be analyzed. The reports for each engine came back with zero issues.

Here is a photo showing the generous engine access on the Ponderosa 47:
