    Inverter/battery advice for a newbie

    I have been advised to yank my generator as it sat for 10 years without running, it in a difficult to service location, and is generally overkill for my needs. The idea pitched to me was to install an inverter for use when shore power is unavailable. The only draw would be the 10 gallon water...
