    Internal vs. "South Bay" strainers?

My factory external strainers would get completely clogged with chopped up seaweed(fresh water) My internal strainers were clean but due to reduced water flow my Hino’s would start to run hot. I tried back flushing but the weeds packed in so tight the only way to clear was to get under the boat...

    Boat lift

Boat hoist I installed a 30000 lb lift for my 38 Bayliner last year. The hoist alone cost $17000 . That’s not including the 8 pilings required plus installation. Was worth every penny.

Can I anchor in Canadian water?

Crystal Bay Crystal bay is 1 mile away from my dock (Mich) If you drop anchor you are under the same rules as going to Canada- no difference at all. twins In this case would everyone agree that a single engine trawler with bow thruster is just as manueverable as the same trawler with twins? I have had experience with twin engine boats but no experience with bow thrusters.

Engine access When you remove all the engine hatches you can get to area in between both engines. But if you want to work on the port side of the port engine or the starboard side of the starboard engine it would appear that you have to crawl under the fixed floor to gain access to those areas...

    35 chb

I am looking at a 35 CHB aft cabin model. She has twin 80hp. lehmans. After looking at the engine layout I am puzzled by how you access the outboard side of both engines. For this reason I am wondering if the benefits of twins are worth the difficulty in servicing them. This would be my first...
