    Water In Bilge

Thank you Bacchus. I would never have thought the rub rail may be the culprit. I'll check it out.

    Water In Bilge

I have a Mainship 350 and notice that after some hard rain, some water will accumulate in the bilge. My question is, is this normal? and If not, where might it be entering and what is the fix. Thanks everyone in advance.

    Mainship Swimstep

Great idea Keysdisease, If I can remove all the wet from the edge I could fill with epoxy? I also considered adding a bigger hatch and some storage if the wet core area is not too large. Great Forum. Going to start visiting more often.

    1997 350 Swimstep

It was suggested I ask my questions specific to Mainships here. I have a 350 that has a swim step with some wet core. Does anyone know if the swim step can be separated from the hull extension? I would like to be able to repair the swim step core from underneath without taking off the entire...

    Mainship Swimstep

Yes , the swim step is attached to the hull extension. I believe the first issue was resolved by installing a bilge pump and adding access to the extension. My problem now is the access hatches were not sealed properly and the core around one hatch is wet. I was hoping to remove the swim step...

    Mainship Swimstep

Hello boaters. I have a 350 Mainship that may need some core repair/replacement on the swim step. Anyone have any experience with this? Does the top come off the swim step or does the whole thing need to come off the boat. Any help is appreciated.

    Tachometer Accuracy

I have a 97 Mainship 350 with twin Volvo Penta TAMD-41p-a Diesels. Both tachometers on the starboard side read about 400 rpm too low. Any ideas why this could be and how to correct? Thanks

    Mainship Trim Tabs

I have a 97 Mainship 350 and my Trim tabs will not extend fully. My zinc diver thinks they may need hydralic fluid, but my mechanic looked everywhere for the pump where he could fill the fluid but could not find it. Anybody know where the pump/s are? Thank you.

    Mainship 350 Props

I checked the manual and 3900 is the correct WOT. The Tach's however may not be too accurate. I'll have them checked out. Thanks

    Mainship 350 Props

WOT is 3900 and I can get there fairly quick. As for weight, we have a 10' zodiac w 15hp engine, normally carry full water and fuel but not that much other extra weight. ( and 200 feet of anchor chain)

    Mainship 350 Props

I bought a 97 Mainship 350 last fall. Everything I read about performance said it should plane and do 16-18 knots. My boat will do 13.5. The engines are twin volvo penta 200 hp and the props are 20 x 16 (so I am told) Anyone have a similar boat running different props? Anyone have any...
